Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a quiet adventure game about wandering a fog-covered village and slowly figuring out what happened to its people. You tap to move, examine objects, and solve gentle environmental puzzles that fit the mood. It never rushes you.

The atmosphere is the whole point. There's a soft, melancholy soundtrack and hand-painted scenes that made me want to explore every corner. Puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, so I rarely reached for a hint. The story unfolds through notes and short conversations you can revisit.

It's a few hours long and best played in one or two sittings. Everything is offline, and it never interrupts the mood with pop-ups. A lovely small game.
